  No, szereztem egy kis Delux tápot, elméletileg 450W-os (12V - 18A, 5V - 30A, 3.3V - 21A), 20+4 PIN-es. Ezzel fogom tesztelni ma az Ubuntu-t és az rtorrent-et. Az biztos, hogy a szoftveres rész nincs nálam pontra téve, mivel csak nemrég kezdtem, nagy a hibalehetőség, de szerintem az a +4 tű segíteni fog.

  Az átalakítóval kapcsolatban, találtam egy cikket: All about the various PC power supply cables and connectors.

  Az oldal felénél esik szó az átalakító kábelről, és, hát elég sok rosszat írnak róla. Alább egy idézet:

  "These do not solve the problems mentioned above. In fact, they usually make things worse. You still have only the same old 20 wires and pin&socket connectors that you would have if you plugged it directly into the motherboard. But with the adapter you also have longer wires and another set of pins&sockets so you have a higher voltage drop and more things which can go wrong. All the adapter does is remove the problem from the 24 pin motherboard connector and move it to the 20 pin connector on the adapter. About the only good thing it does is to make sure the 20 pin connector on the adapter melts rather than the 24 pin connector on the motherboard."

  Most azt nem tudom, hogy itt a sok Wattos gépekről és tápegységekről van-e szó? Vagy ugyanez érvényes egy 20-30W teljesítményű kis miniITX gépre is? Nem mindegy, mert olvadásról meg kiesésekről szól a sztori. Ha kell valahogy eladom a mostanit, és veszek egy rendes 24 PIN-es tápot...
