  We are usually don't do "retesting". There are too much new devices, we don't have time for it.

  And - in our opinion - a brand new model should be perfect when it hits the shelves... ufortunatelly this is not typical when you talk about a Nokia smartphone...

  Hmm,

  I currently have N95 8GB but this doesn't have US3G
  and I heavly use the camera(5mp)
  I wanted to upgrade to N96 because of the US3G
  cause I use N810 but when I use N95 as a BT modem you know over GPRS it is very slow.
  So in this case I have no other option but E71 I think but I don't want to go to 3mp camera.
  This very hard situation I'm in now
  maybe after N96 is released in a year they will come up with N96 32MB
  with faster CPU and RAM

  N96 has a slower CPU (as you read), so it has lower benchmark points, which is obvious. If you see the results, you can notice, that the difference between N95 (classic) and N95 8GB is very slight, in my opinion the little advantage of N95 (classic) comes from smaller inbuilt memory.

  N96 is very slow. It has enough RAM, you can run tasks simoltaonusly, but be prepared that the reaction time is bigger, becouse the CPU almost twice as slow.

  JBenchmark never lies. Trust it.

  I bought the N95(classic) the day it was out.
  As every other power user who purchased that phone I was shocked
  how Nokia could release a device with almost same specs that I had with 6680.
  Because N95 was truly the multimedia computer in my mind, but not being able to multitask the way I wanted to multitask made me sad!

  Then I bought the N95 8GB just because of upgraded RAM and surely the phone was
  noticibly FASTER! I ran 17 apps at the same time still plenty of ram free...

  Now I am waiting for N96 I know not big changes coming with N96
  I'm not a big fan of wider phone, or 16gb memory.
  I need CPU and RAM!
  but to support nokia I was going to purchase it.

  But after I read your review on N96 I started to think, because I'm so happy with N95 8GB
  it works better than PC! I can do everything at the same time, and it never slows down!

  even though you say N96 has slower CPU your benchmark shows opposite.
  because all of those tests N95 has a higher number
  N96 has the lowest number... but we all know N95 8GB is faster than N95
  so I'm assuming there is a mistake with your results?
  N96 is the fastest with the slowest number?

  I don't quite understand from your benchmarks...

  You say the N96 is slower than N95 8GB
  Lets look @ the JBenchmark 1; According to this(overall)
  N95 5249
  N95 8GB 4865
  N96 2465
  according to these numbers
  if N96 is the slowest here with 2465 that makes N95 the fastest with 5249
  which is not true.
  N95 8GB is faster in every possible way than N95(classic)

  when I look @ JBenchmark 2 and 3D the same applies to these as well...
  N95 on top with higher number
  N95 8GB in the middle
  and N96 at the bottom...
  according to these results N95(classic) is the fastest of all ?
