  README INSTALLATION PROCEDURES FOR REX 2.0

  Please make sure that when installing the update over the previous version of REX 1.0 that you install it in the proper location.

  ALSO BE SURE TO MAKE A BACK UP OF YOUR FSX TEXTURES - THE INITIAL BACK UP OF REX 1.0 BEFORE INSTALLING REX 2.

  EXAMPLE:

  If you current have REX 1 installed at: C:\Program Files\Real Environment Xtreme then that is the top level folder you must have selected when installing the update.

  So when it comes to the update installer make sure that you select the very TOP level folder of the where you have installed REX 1.0, before you begin your update.

  WHAT TO DO IF THE INSTALLATION FAILS?

  Please follow the following procedures listed below:

  1.) You will need to uninstall REX altogther. Go to your control panel and uninstall REX.

  2.) Then go to where the folders where REX was installed and manually remove ALL folders and files including the top level folder.

  3.) Re-install the original version of REX 1.0. You do not need to start it before you install REX 2.0.

  4.) Now install REX 2.0 according to the original installation process listed above. Make sure you set the installer folder at the very top level directory of where REX 1 is installed. (See above).
