I use english Wikipedia only. There're various reasons for that, but mainly it's because the articles are much more better and detailed (and there're many things you can find only in english, so I don't see the reason why should I use something else - you could say it's more convenient for me). I also have goosebumps from ANY non-english-interfaced software (including OS). It's not that I'm snobbish or picky; it's just...annoying, more like IRRITATING in a way. English will do the job perfectly (until I learn the next language I'm seriously longing for - but we'll talk about this later). ^^

Yeah, I'm sure that german is a more complicated issue than this; especially in terms of conjugation. But it's not a "soft" stuff; too much consonants - so I'm not very impressed by the sounding of a "proper" conversation (alas I can say in a clear state of mind, that Rammstein is sure rocks ^^)
On the contrary, english is such an easy language that it's almost ridiculous. So as the fact that I'm not fluent in it after so many years. :DDD

Yup, your native language (again this word...how I hate repeating...and the lacking pool of synonyms...there're no words to describe my utmost unpleasantness : D) should be the easiest for you and I'm pretty sure that everybody feels this way. Though, there's an interesting case regarding this; there're those weird instances when an actual word won't come to my mind in hungarian, just in english - language overuse or just simply a pretty fucked up brain? Or just my long-term memory playing little pranks? ;] I'm not sure which of those but it has its own sour humour, hasn't it?

I set my sights on Japanese. I hope that this September will bring forth that coveted language course in which I'm sooo interested in for a couple of months now. I wanna be absolutely fluent (both in terms of grammar/vocabulary/accent AND writing (maybe 4-5000 kanjis will do the trick for a while :) ) in ~5 years. Will be a hard task, but not impossible; anyways, I'll give my best to match my own expectations.
