  Nem tudom, hogy találkozott e már valaki hasonló problámával. de ha igen kérem ossza meg velem a tapasztalatát.
  Szóval, az eddigi VGA-m tv kimenete egy 4pin-es S-Video volt, amihez anno vettem is egy elég drága kábelt. A gond csak az, hogy az új kártya amit venni szándékozok az nem 4 hanem 7 tűs S-Video tv kimenettel rendelkezik. Mechanikailag simán be lehetne dugni a már meglévő kábelemet, mert az alap 4 tű pont ott helyezkedik el az új kártyán is, csak épp van köztük 3 másik is.

  Mielőtt azonban kipróbáltam volna kicsit utánaolvastam, és olyasmit olvastam ami elbizonytalanított.

  The 4-pin mini-DIN connectors seem to be common on TVs, VCRs, and DVD players. The 7-pin quasi-DIN connectors seem to be more common on computers. The 7-pin socket accepts the 4-pin plug and the S-video signals are available on the matching pins. When a 7-pin plug is inserted, one of the extra pins carries a CVBS composite video signal for non S-video displays. Some graphics cards require the remaining two pins to be shorted together to enable the CVBS mode. Many newer cards (especially those with inputs and outputs) will also require the 7+ pin connector and will not just take the s-video cable directly. If you try to connect it, you will damage the cable and/or the card.
