  PC owners of Control – no matter which edition you own on Steam, Epic Games Store, or GOG – are getting the “March 25” update. While this has always been the plan, it’s taking us a while to ensure that the update propagates (correctly!) across multiple stores and editions of our six-year-old game. We thank you for your understanding, as we’ve had some… surprising things happen now that the patch is live.
  
  For base game / Standard Edition owners who might be seeing some issues, we recommend re-installing the game and clearing the installation folder (from old extra data). We are working with Epic Games to bring the same patch contents to the Epic Games Store.
  
  We have revised update notes below as well, since some of the details were missing from the original notes.
  
  In the near future, we will release this same update for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms. We have a small team working on these updates so we want to space them out to give us time to fix potential issues that might come up. We appreciate your patience!
