    Mára a ProHardver!/IT.News Fórum is nagylétszámú Linuxban jártas taggal büszkélkedhet. Nehéz szinteket felállítani egy olyan rendszer ismeretében, ami annyira sokrétű, hogy teljesen szinte lehetetlen megismerni minden egyes részét. Azt azonban mindenki tudja, hogy kezdő-e vagy sem. Elsősorban nekik szólnak az alábbiak, de érdemes mindenkinek elolvasnia, mint útjelző táblát.

    Sziasztok!

    Én szeretném legyalulni a windows XP-t a számítógépről. Jelenleg dual bootos rendszerem van Ubuntu+Windows XP. Úgy szeretném leszedni az XP-t hogy a rendszerindító grubból is eltünjön örökre és az XP-s particiót szeretném hozzáadni az Ubuntuhoz. Szívből utálom m$-ot.
    Az egésznek annyi az előzménye, hogy találtam a neten egy patchelt a wine-t, ami futtatja a CoD4-et, eddig azért tartottam meg a m$ híres oprendszerét, hogy tudjak játszani ezzel a játékkal. De már nincs szükségem az XP-re, mivel a CoD4 hibátlanul fut a wine-n.

    Beállítások/Főmenü/Az egyéb fülön engedélyezd a Képernyők és grafika-t. Akkor az Alkalmazások/Egyéb menüben meg fog jelenni és indítsd el a Képernyők és grafika alkalmazást. Itt válaszd ki a monitorod típusát (gyártó és típus szerint vannak felsorolva), majd indítsd újra a gépet utána átállíthatod a felbontást.

    Nem tudom hova tenni, hogy a microsoft akar valamit tőlem, mikor linuxot használok, semmi közöm a microsofthoz. Mióta bekapcsoltam a gépet csak a böngészőt nyitottam meg, nem értem. Most aggódjak, mert támadás alatt van a gépem, vagy valami normál folyamat ami lejátszódik? Felvilágosítanátok?

    Én egészen addig azt hittem hogy a windows xp a legjobb oprendszer, amíg három hete ki nem próbáltam az ubuntu linuxot. Már nem is akarok mást használni, csak ubuntut.

    Miért jobb a linux, mint a windows?

    1. Ingyenes. A legolcsóbb fapados vista 35.000 ft.
    2. Kernel szinten tartalmazza a tűzfalat.
    3. Az ext3 fájlrendszer fejlettebb mint az ntfs.
    4. Biztonságosabb. A vírusok 99 %-át windowsra írják. Sokan még vírusirtót sem használnak linuxon, mert minek?
    5. Rengeteg ingyenes nyílt forráskódú alkalmazás van linuxra. Ha szükségem van valamilyen programra, csak letöltöm az ubuntu szoftvercsatornából, nem kell vadászni a neten a különféle alkalmazások után. Olyan alkalmazások vannak ingyenenesen mint a windowsban a fizetősök. Pl. windowsos xilisoft dvd ripper? Ott van az ingyenes linuxos acidrip, ami ugyanazt tudja.
    6. Egyre több játék készül linuxra. (Nekem fenn van vagy 15 játék, nem ám csak ingyenesek, hanem pl. Quake 4, vagy az Enemy Territory Quake Wars)
    4. Kevesebb a rendszerigénye mint a vistának.
    7. Vannak professzionális fizetős alkalmazások is, pl most vettem meg a MainConcept MainActor video editáló alkalmazást, ugyanazt tudja mint a Pinneacle Studio.

    Bár én még kezdő linuxos vagyok, de már beleszerettem az ubuntuba. Az igaz hogy állandóan sudozni kell, de szerintem ez a kezdőknek való könnyen használható linux.
