    az xps-ben megoldás volt, hogy egy valahova elsunnyasztott registry érték határozza meg, mennyi idő múlva menjen aludni a hangkártya. beállítottam 2 órára, azóta nem mászik az agyamra.

    meg is találtam:
    1. First, upgrade your WavesAudio drivers to the latest from Dell (should be revision ending in .8245 or something)

    2. You will need to edit some Registry values. Do not do this if you're not computer-savvy, I take no responsibility for messing up your system!

    3. We need to edit the following registry KEY with the following VALUES: (read Note #1 below)

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\ {4D36E96C-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\ 0000 \PowerSettings

    "ConservationIdleTime"=hex:10,0e,00,00

    "PerformanceIdleTime"=hex:10,0e,00,00

    REBOOT your computer to apply the settings. After reboot CHECK the registry key to ensure they're still set correctly.
    IMPORTANT NOTES:

    The "0000" in the key (in bold above) will be different for every system. You basically need to find the key which refers to the Realtek audio system. It could be 0002, 0009, etc.

    If you search on the internet, you'll find articles referring to a similar value named "IdlePowerState". The Realtek driver only supports a value of "3" (which is the default) for that key. If you try to set it to any value other than "3", your system will eventually BLUE SCREEN! After 3 years of using Windows 10, I got my first BSOD while playing with this value!! tl;dr: don't touch "IdlePowerState"

    Also on the Internet, various articles mention we can set the 2 "idletime" values to ZERO (0) and disable power management. This is also NOT supported by the Realtek driver! That's why some people who've tried this technique before did not have success! If you change the IdleTime to 0, at next reboot the Realtek driver will change it back to 3! For this reason, it MUST have a non-zero value of some sort.

    The actual IdleTimes I used above refer to 3600 seconds = 60 minutes = 1 hour. Which is reasonable to me and passed my testing. Note that DEFAULT IdleTime with the Realtek audio driver is 3 seconds (!!!)

    Windows stores hex values in the registry using some weird backwards convention. Above, you see that I am setting the registry key to 10 0e 00 00. That actually refers to 0e10 in hex. 0e10 in hex = 3600 in decimal (therefore 3600 seconds).

    For example, if you want to have idletime of 7200 seconds (2 hours): 7200 in decimal = 1C20 in hex.

    Change the registry values above to: 20 1C 00 00

    gyakorlatilag én úgy találtam meg, hogy megkerestem ezt: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4d36e96c-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000\PowerSettings
    a 4d36e96...10318-ból több is volt, meg kell keresni azt, ami alatt van 0000\PowerSettings, nálam ez fentről a nyolcadik volt, más gépen nem tudom. és természetesen felelősséget nem vállalok semmiért :)
