Data transfer, battery
L700 supports 3G networks, but there is no HSDPA. It is still one of the cheapest handsets that have a normal set of features and support third generation networks, so there can be no complaints about the Koran engineers if we take a look at the price. We have the Access Netfront as a web browser; it’s good, but Opera Mini is way better.
At local level we can use the supplied USB cable and the PC software for connecting the phone to our computer and thus we can tamper with the address book and the messages. If the cable doesn’t remind us of liberating freedom then we can use Bluetooth, which provides slow data transfer (60-70 KB/s), but it works perfectly otherwise.
You can see that L700 works pretty fine until now, but unfortunately they managed to but a bit too small battery inside. It rarely kept the phone online for two days with one charge; of course I have been using it but not more than any other test device. The second day I have taken the charger with me so that if the small metal brick gets hungry I can feed him in order to maintain mobile communication.
Summary. This phone, at this is price is near perfect. It knows what we might need, it is high-quality, has a nice design, uses great materials and it’s usable. I have mentioned at the beginning, but it didn’t change by now: this is currently the best buy in this price category; it has been barely launched and it’s already competitive, if it’s price will drop a bit it won’t really have any competitor.
