Introduction
Samsung's product manager goes in to the engineers, where one of the guys keeps opening and closing a slider, while the other counts. Guys! - so does the manager say – top management says that we need some kind of metallic phone again, cause the guys at MobileArsenal really liked the previous ones and we need some good press reviews. Well, yeah, even I don't know what did we make before and what were they called, even my wife asked me the other day if we have metallic clamshells and she confused me so much that I became angry and so I ruined a good night.
S3600 has been born. The letter S stands for the pretty much emphasized “Slim” and “Stylish” words, but I'd rather say thin and shifty, as the clamshell has no external display. But it's indeed made of metal, we can see brushed aluminum everywhere, the Korean manufacturer really likes such things nowadays, maybe they have mountains of bauxite over there and they just have to do something with it.
They only lack some fantasy, as although S3600 is really a good-looking handset on the outside, but they didn't mess around much: they just took the hardware of J770 and put it in this really elegant frying pan. Of course it's rightful, as there has been no mid-range metallic clamshell before, but I must note that there is no wooden clamshell either, so they could just go and buy a forest.
The box, that came from XXL GSM had some really basic stuff inside, as we only have a charger and a headset as an accessory, and the whole pack costs about 100-120 EUR in an average store.
