Samsung has officially announced its metallic candybar phone, Samsung L700. The handset, covered in brushed metal, has a large keypad in order to provide a comfortable use, a 2.1" TFT screen and 30 MB of internal memory that can be expanded with a microSD card, while on its back there is a 2 megapixel camera with fixed focus and a LED flash. (The label near the camera, that tells us about optical zooming, will not be present on the final product.) Besides a stereo FM radio and stereo Bluetooth support the phone can also display Word, Excel and PDF files, but of course the advanced HTML browser and video calling are all here. The 109 x 46 x 12.8 mm large Samsung L700 metallic 3G phone will be available in the majority of Europe from July, at an estimated price of €170 EUR.
