I didn’t expect much of the 2 megapixel camera on the back, but I have been waiting for more than what it could give. The handset has to be held horizontally and in the bottom row we can see the settings, but nothing besides the usual ones. The camera has fix focus, exposure is fast and saving pictures won’t take up much time either, but the results are rather lame. Neither the sensor nor the software are a big deal, we can record videos at 176 x 144 pixels and you can see the test photos below.

The music player is the good old one, it has the interface of the newer Samsung models and there’s no problem with that. This is the one from F400, it can filter tracks by ID3 tags. If we find the track we want playback starts, which is also done in front of the old, ugly green background, plus possibly the album cover. It can run in the background, but unfortunately there is no equalizer, but in turn we can rate tracks with small stars and later on the phone can list the tracks by these too. Hallelujah.
L700 has a medium performance through the handsfree speaker, and the headset is no world champion either, but at least it’s stereo and trendy white. It cannot be taken apart, the connector is not standard, so we can use this or buy a converter, or use stereo Bluetooth.
We need a headset if we want to use the RDS-capable FM radio, as this won’t launch if there’s no headset plugged in. The software has a very simple interface, it’s easy to use, stations can be stored and we wouldn’t expect anything else anyway.
