Introduction
There are more entry-level phones than there should be. Or is it just that there are lot of them being launched now? I’ve seen Vodafone 527, we’ve reviewed Philips 292 and there still are a couple of them at me… none of them is a technological delicacy. But a fact’s a fact: these are the models with the highest sales in this region, and money is an important thing. And even more not everyone needs more features that a cheap phone can provide.
Sony Ericsson has quite a lot of devices in this segment. On one hand they have an ODM agreement with Sagem, so features of the once-French brand appear once in a while in a couple of Japanese-Swedish models, and on the other hand they have a couple of development plans in the house as well. The T series is characterized by a demanding finish and high-quality, usually metallic materials, and now we have the latest member of the K series, called K330, although the number should begin with 2 if we take a look at the rather poor specs table.
GSM Takács sent me a plain box with green and white colors which doesn’t have tons of accessories inside, as besides the handset there is only a simple headset and a charger. That’s not much, but I didn’t even expect much more for the current SIM-free price of about €75 - €95.
