Calls, data transfer
The phonebook can store 1000 names; there are plenty of extra fields. We can have a maximum of 500 SMS messages on the internal memory, while multimedia messages take space from the aforementioned 8 MB internal memory. There is an email client, it can handle authenticated IMAP servers and attached files too. The web browser is built on NetFront and its HTML compatible.
Sound quality during calls was fine, the J750 performed surprisingly well even through the handsfree. There are built-in profiles and the phone can ring and vibrate at the same time. The list of ringtones is quite unsatisfactory, just like the lack of games: only the Samsung Tune is in MP3 format, all other are polyphonic.
The handset is 3G compatible, the GSM module is tri-banded (900/1800/1900 MHz). Besides UMTS we can use EDGE or GPRS for data transfer. There is no infrared port, the version number of the A2DP-compatible Bluetooth is 2.0.
