As the menu system isn’t renewed, the structure of the phone book didn’t change much, or let’s be precise: it didn’t change at all. We can still have 1000 entries, with the following additional information: first name, last name, display name (which can be the nick), two phone numbers, email address, note, group, picture and ringtone. However this is only the default list of fields, every name can have attached an infinite number of phone numbers, email addresses, fax numbers and video-phoning address. The listing and searching is fast, simple, can be understood easily, I really can’t say anything bad about it.
Message handling doesn’t have any surprises either. SMS messages can be of maximum 12 parts, there is copy-paste function and the internal memory can store a maximum of 500 messages. We can create personal folders for easier grouping and we can access the list of recently accessed contacts with the press of a button when composing a new message. Everything is very pleasant, simple and easily usable.
MMS messages have a maximum size of 295 KB, the software tries to shrink attached pictures of a greater size, but sometimes it exaggerates a bit by creating 20-30KB photos. The email client handles attachments, but it doesn’t have such extras as the MMS handler: when trying to insert an attachment (which can be of any type, even one not known by the phone) larger than the maximum allowed size, it just tells us, that we exceed the possibilities. This maximum size is 500 KB.
