Samsung F250 - hit radio

Data communication, battery

In means of data transfer F250 has nothing to be proud of, as it only has support for GPRS and EDGE networks. This, and the low-res display don’t make it capable of web surfing, although xHTML is no problem for the basic browser, but it’s no use forcing pages more complicated than WAP.

In local transfer we have USB and Bluetooth, both at version of 2.0. In the case of USB we can of course choose if the memory card should function as an external drive, or we want to use Samsung PC Studio. Of course F250 also functions as a modem if needed.

The battery under the back had very unstable performance during the test period, though I’ve been taking care of it for 10 days. There were days when I couldn’t get home in the evening before the battery running down (although I took it off the charger in the morning), while on another occasion it kept running for 2-3 days. Of course the amount of daily use has an influence on its online time, but there weren’t such great differences to give reason for triple the online time.

Conclusion. Although I was a bit skeptical at the beginning of the test of F330’s stupefied brother, but if 3G weren’t that important to me I would be sure to chose the cheaper one of the two, as it is absolutely all right as a phone and I can have no complaints about the musical part. If it reaches the offer of network providers, it can become a real hit and I think it deserves the title. An award is due, that’s certain:
