There’s not much to say about the camera. It’s a 1.3 megapixel lens with fixed focus, it’s clear that this is not the most important function. Still, picture quality is not awful, although sunny weather has favored the device. Pictures are taken in landscape mode; there is image sequencing, different effects, delayed timer, frames and different picture sizes. There is no flash. Highest resolution available for video recording is QCIF, which is good for nothing, but we can go as low as 128 x 96 pixels, which doesn’t even reach the level of MSN animated GIF emoticons.

The phone’s primary weapon is music. The software knows practically everything, but one feature: it has no equalizer. This is quite a great fault, we have to be content with the factory preset, but everything else is all right. Tracks are grouped by ID3 tags. The application runs in the background, tracks can be rated with stars or can be blocked from being played and music can be redirected to a Bluetooth headset: to two Bluetooth headsets, to be more specific, in case you would like to share the experience with someone. The player runs nicely in the background; if the phone is closed, we can only alter the volume (in 15 steps), and the keypad must be unlocked for seeking.
The supplied headset can be disassembled, but, as we mentioned earlier, any other headset can be plugged in the F250. Sound quality is quite unpleasant through the built-in handsfree (there are lots of high-frequency sounds, but no bass); while through a headset it completely depends on the accessory. The one supplied is not bad, it’s an earphone. There’s a cool FM radio, which not only has RDS-support but can also handle Radio Text, which can provide additional information about the current broadcast – if the station wants to. It’s worth to mention that the F250, in theory, has a “Music recognition” feature that is something like TrackID in Sony Ericsson phones. It’s a pity that no matter what I configured and tried, it didn’t function. Heck, I even tried humming some tune.
Regarding games, the situation is the usual: there are a couple of full version apps, but those are a thousand years old. The demo stuff aren’t much brighter either, we’ve already seen all of them somewhere else, Paris Hilton, Minigolf, Casino and Tetris haunt us again… nothing special.
