Phone calls, data transfer
There are basically no problems with phone calls, but the lack of volume control keys was very annoying, at least for me. Of course no one should be afraid, we can set the volume with the d-pad, but this is not such a user-friendly solution. The GSM module is quad-band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and the handset supports third generation networks too. We can use GPRS, EDGE or 384 kbps UMTS for data transfer, Bluetooth and microUSB are of version 2.0.
Software regarding phone calls are all default ones. The capacity of the phonebook is unknown, it can probably store 2000 or 4000 names, and there are lots of extra fields too. The call log can display received/missed/dialed calls together or separately. SMS memory size is also unknown, but it’s sure that 6600 supports multimedia messages and emails too, the email client handles IMAP and SMTP servers too.
