Basic functions
I won’t go into details much, as the phone practically has the same features – in terms of messaging and the phonebook – like any other Nokia with FP2. We can list the contents of the SIM card and the internal memory can store practically an unlimited number of contacts. Messaging is also the usual high-quality one as it supports SMS, MMS and emails too, although as opposed to E66 or E71 there is no MS Exchange server support this time.
The quality of the keypad is a notable thing, as text entry is possible at the speed of light with the numeric keys, just like on 6220. Office features are only basic, QuickOffice works in read only mode and we have Adobe PDF reader, Zip and active notes too. We can download any language we would like for the dictionary. The calendar and the alarm clock are the usual ones.
Voice dialing and voice commands are also supported. The Dictaphone can record sound until there is some free memory. This capacity is 110 MB by default, this is where we can store images, sounds, messages… everything. There are three games this time: the usual Marble, jelly Chase in which we have to control a fish with the help of motion sensors and there is some brain control stuff which has logic games.
