The Japanese market is a great challenge for companies because of two reasons. On one hand the network operators almost completely tie the hands of manufacturers and on the other hand it's rather hard to come up with something better that is currently available on the market. Samsung i900 Omnia, having a 240 x 400 pixels large display by default, probably wouldn't have been an attractive alternative, so the 8 GB edition for Softbank has a 480 x 800 pixels large, WVGA, display, which is not a top notch one with its 3.2" diagonal and the resolution, but it is still much better than the American and the European editions. Of course One-Seg online television support is also present, so the handset can tune in to and record Japanese television broadcasts. Samsung 930SC, coming in black and red colors, is based on Windows 6.1 Professional, has a 5 megapixel autofocus camera and it will be available exclusively in Japan.
