Nokia Ovi Store has been announced at Mobile World Congress, which might be the most advanced application and content store on the market, where cannot just select from a sorted catalog, but the system can offer applications based on our past habits, our location or based on what our friends have downloaded. The online store (launched on February 16, going public only in May) of course will have a revenue sharing system for developers, who are expected to be in about 3.5 million in number, based on registrations at Forum Nokia. Just like any other online store, Ovi Store will also offer free software, but it's not yet known what will be the upload requirements for these. Nokia told mocoNews only that they are currently checking out the options and as the launch comes close these will become clear. In case of free applications Apple doesn't want a share from revenues obtained from own ads, but in the case of Nokia it might be possible that they will want a part of them, or for themselves, or for the network operator.
