The service has originally been called Nokia Chat, than Contacts on Ovi and finally renamed to Ovi Contacts, and it's still in beta, but has reached another milestone, as now all Series 60 3rd Edition handsets are supported. The new edition that doesn't have many new features (mostly bugfixes) completely integrates in the handset's contact list, adding new features. When browsing our contacts we can immediately check their location, the song they're listening to, the ways we can contact them, their mood and we can even invite them to chat through Nokia's own system or by using Google Talk. Of course every information is optional to share. For example the location can be very precise (GPS coordinates), or we can just show the town or the street's name which can be edited or blocked. Ovi Contacts is still a beta version service and it currently has no direct access to the most popular IM services.
