LG announced another touchscreen phone capable of receiving digital TV broadcasts, but this time not DVB-H, but the more widespread DVB-T is supported. Although this requires more power during reception, but it practically means the same TV standard that is used by digital TV receivers at home, so it can be used for viewing free TV broadcasts. The handset, equipped with a 3", 240 x 400 pixels large touchscreen, has WLAN, stereo Bluetooth and HSDPA support and has a 3 megapixel camera, but this can record videos only at 320 x 240 pixels resolution at a speed of up to 15 fps. Unfortunately there is no GPS receiver in the phone, although it would have been really comfortable to use it on such a large screen. The 108 x 53 x 14 mm large LG KB770, weighing 109 grams, will be availble from November in Germany at a price of €449 EUR.
