CeBIT: hands-on with HTC Magic

Unfortunately we couldn't take HTC's latest Android gadget in our hands in Barcelona, but we have managed to do so at the expo in Hannover.

First of all let's see the specs of the new handset, that exists in black and white as well. The Android operating system runs on a 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7201A CPU, while it has 192 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM. Its display has a diagonal of 3.2"m the resolution is 320 x 480 pixels, and of course it's a touchscreen. The data communication arsenal is full, as the GSM module is quad-band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), while we can use HSDPA or WiFi for data transfer. There is Bluetooth support and a built-in GPS receiver as well, the camera has a resolution of 3.2 megapixels, it has autofocus, while the battery's capacity is 1,340 mAh, all these adding up to an overall phone size of 113 x 55 x 13.65 mm, and a weight of 118.5 grams. It will be available exclusively at Vodafone at the end of Q2.
