HTC XV6175: With GSM and CDMA support

HTC's product range for this year has been leaked last year, although we didn't get to know much besides the design plans. We only knew about the mysterious HTC XV6175 that it's made for Verizon, which doesn't have GSM, but a CDMA and a high-speed EV-DO network. According to Global Certification Forum the handset will feature a quad-band GSM receiver as well, so we probably have a real "world-phone" in the making, which is usable on both GSM and CDMA networks. HTC's position has become more and more stable last year, which is not surprising at all if you take a look at the manufacturer's handsets. As for the recently announced handset Pro2 and Diamond2 are outstanding both in terms of design and features, even in the increasing Windows Mobile rivalry, and their groundbreaking success might be limited only by the high price that is characteristic of the manufacturer.
