Almost all sources have been extremely pleased with the user interface of Windows Mobile 7, but it is running very late, so Microsoft has decided to improve the 6 series a bit more, so version 6.5 will be announced soon, but it has been leaker much before the announcement, just as it has been expected. The beta edition, that runs on HTC Blue Angel from 2004 as well, comes with the latest edition of Internet Explorer, where scrolling is comfortable even with a finger. There are no visual effects on the user interface, and there is no multitouch support either, but at least it's easy to use without a stylus. It is not yet known if the final version, to be announced at the Mobile World Congress, will have any new features compared to the beta vesion, but based on what have we seen until now it might be a disappointment for those who have been expecting a big hit. Still, the update seems to be a rather nice one.
