The launch of HP iPAQ Data Messenger has been originally planned for December, but due to a small delay it has become available only recently. The Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional handset comes with a slider QWERTY keyboard and a 2.81", 240 x 320 pixels large touchscreen display. The 114 x 57 x 17.4 mm large iPAQ PDA-phone, weighing 160 grams, is available for 440 GBP in Great Britain and features 7.2 megabit HSDPA and WLAN support, GPS and Bluetooth, a 3.1 megapixel autofocus camera with a LED flash, a microUSB charger and data connector, a 2.5 mm headset jack and a 1,140 mAh battery. The heart of the device is a 528 MHz CPU, that works along with 128 MB of RAM and 256 MB of ROM.
