Samsung announced its latest W510 slider, which has its case and the cover of the battery made of biologically easy decaying, corn starch-based plastic. Besides the environment-friendly plastic, the phone also has an antibacterial coating, which protects the device's user. The Korean manufacturer is very committed about environment protection, hence they won't use BFR (Brominated Flame Retardants) materials from next year, and from 2010 they won't be using PVC anymore. The first model that doesn't use PVC at all, F268, will, however, be available from next month.
