Sony Ericsson Idou in silver

Hirdetés

Sony Ericsson announced its first Symbian Series 60 Touch mobile phone at this year's Mobile World Congress, being the first European phone with a 12 megapixel camera, Xenon and LED flash besides the 3.5" nHD (640 x 360 pixels) touchscreen display. The handset, coming late this year, has originally been announced only in a black edition, but according to the latest rumors a silver version will be available as well. The phone, currently being a curiosity, features WLAN, GPS, stereo Bluetooth, HSUPA support, its size is 111 x 54 x 115 mm and in the next half year it will probably have many rivals, but the price of Samsung Touch HD (having a lower resolution camera but coming much sooner) and Nokia N97 (with a QWERTY keyboard) can drop a lot until the end of the year, thus giving a hard time for the Japanese-Swedish device, which lacks a standard microUSB port and a 3.5 mm jack (even though it has at least a microSD card slot).
