Sony Ericsson Idou, announced at Mobile World Congress, features the currently highest resolution camera, while it's based on Symbian operating system and a Nokia Series 60 Touch (5th Edition) user interface, accustomed to the needs of the Japanese-Swedish manufacturer. The 111 x 54 x 15 mm large Idou is a special phone, but not only because of its camera that can take 4000 x 3000 pixels large pictures (featuring a combined Xenon and LED flash), but also because it features a 3.5", 640 x 360 pixels large touchscreen display, GPS, WLAN, stereo Bluetooth, HSDPA support, a stereo FM radio with RDS and finally a microSD slot as well. The problematic points are the lack of a standard 3.5 mm headset jack and a microUSB connector, as the side of the phone unfortunately tells us that the manufacturer still sticks to its proprietary standard. The launch date of the phone is not yet known.
