Sony Ericsson Idou, announced at this year's Mobile World Congress is the first mobile phone made for Europe that features a 12 megapixel camera. The handset, based on Symbian Foundation's open and unified operating system is expected to be launched in October and it has originally been announced only in black, but thanks to MobileCowboys.nl we can now be sure that there will be a silver edition as well. The 111 x 54 x 15 mm large handset features a 3.5", 640 x 360 pixels large touchscreen display, a 12 megapixel autofocus camera with a LED and Xenon flash, WLAN, GPS, stereo Bluetooth, HSDPA and HSUPa support, a gyroscope, a microSD slot and a 1.000 mAh battery.
