The device designed by Qian Jiang is not a multimedia monster, but it's still futuristic.

Nokia has recently announced their shocking concept, Morph, which is very interesting shape-changing mobile device, the only big problem with it is that it can only be carried out in the far future. The Soft Phone, desgined by Qian Jiang, doesn't depart that much from reality, but it is still an exciting model. The device itself consists of a few brace rings and the stretchable material between them.

This material is based on cellulose, it is extremely thin, conducts light and electricity too and it is the display and input of the device. The conventional silicon chips, the antenna and other inflexible components are placed in the rings and in the tweezer holding these together. The characteristic of the intuitive interface is that it can display a conventional keypad or a a QWERTY keyboard too, but it also reacts to physical impacts.

In case of an incoming call it's enough to squeeze the phone and the call gets rejected. The building blocks of this concept are already available, but nevertheless it is not likely that one shall discover such a device in the stores nowadays.
