The Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, developed for multimedia use, has been launched in the ultra-thin Toshiba G01, and it has been clocked at 1 GHz. Acer F1, pictured below, is expected to be announced in September, also features one of Qualcomm's newest processors, although the heart of the Windows Mobile 6.5 device will be "only" an 800 MHz edition. In order to smoothly run the Acer Suite 2.0 3D user interface the handset is equipped with a dedicated graphical processor from ATI. Of course the outstanding performance will have its price, at least the forecasted tag of 560 euros is not a low one at all.
