The Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, announced at this year's Mobile World Congress, has a user interface better accustomed to be used with a finger and it features online services as well, but besides these it has some small new additions too, which hasn't really been revealed by Microsoft at the press conference. One of these interesting features is the full Widget support, which will be accessible directly from the standby screen, without opening Internet Explorer. The mini-apps, similar to Windows Vista Gadgets, will provide quick access to a an online service or another feature, may that be the current exchange rate or the local weather. The solution, used in many Samsung models, will be soon available on all Windows Mobile handsets, without the need for any kind of additional software, which should give a new push for the spreading of Widgets.
