The South-Korean manufacturer has announced its first Symbian Series 60 Touch handset at this year's Mobile World Congress. The phone features a 3.7", 640 x 360 pixels large OLED touhscreen display, an 8 megapixel camera, 7.2 megabit HSDPA and WLAN support, a GPS receiver, a stereo Bluetooth module, an FM receiver and transmitter and video recording at 1280 x 720 pixels. Samsung has an absolutely new idea for promoting its new handset. Fifty lucky contestants can obtaion the handset much before its launch, as an ambassador for Omnia HD, and in turn they have to present the phone's special capabilities to the world. The required form is available from the manufacturer's website, it has to be sent until March 27. Samsung will contact the chosen candidates with information about their secret mission, which will last from mid-April to the end of June.
