Although the standard for mobile television in Europe is DVB-H, this new LG phone still uses the other one, called DVB-T. This standard is widespread mostly in the United Kingdom (but we can receive such broadcasts all across Europe), and it's becoming accessible in more and more places. It has its backdraws, though: due to the changing frequency the phone has to continuously scan the channels, and DVB-T even makes the phone's battery run dry faster.
LG HB620T
HB620T is strange as a phone, as it has an external antenna (for recieveing TV broadcasts) and it's a bit large. The reason for this is the landscape display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and a diagonal of only 2". The clamhsell works on HSPA networks too and it has a microSD slot, a 2 megapixel camera and Bluetooth support. The new handset will first become available at Brittish Vodafone at a price of 100 pounds with subscription.
