The soon to be released iPhone 3.0 software has tons of new features and also improves the already existing ones. Although iPhone 3G's 2 megapixel camera is not a shockingly good one, based on the comparative test from iPhones.ru, we can see that thew new firmware makes the best out of it. Of course we cannot come to a real decision regarding picture quality at such a small size, while the pictures are not available at full resolution, but we can still see that iPhone 3.0 has much better preview results. This means that Apple is seriously into improving the phone's camera, as according to rumors the next iPhone will feature a 3.2 megapixel module, which is still no winner in the megapixel war, but of course it might have some pleasant surprises in terms of image quality.
