RIM has recently reported that they are expecting a better-than-ever half year in the second half of 2008. This great success would be guaranteed, besides the cheap clamshell, by a wave of top models, of which BlackBerry Thunder, equipped with a large touchscreen, seems exceptionally exciting. According to well-informed Boy Genius Report the development of the handset is not going as well as they have planned, the reason being a flaw of the touchscreen solution. According to BGR the display ripples a bit when pressed and even more, due to the slow interface, the click sound is delayed, but the slow speed is enough to make use hard on its own. The touch-and-drag solution doesn't work perfectly either, although it would be one of the most important comfort features of the interface. It is not yet known if the rumors are true, but we can only hope that they are not and the business phone with a huge display will be announced soon.
