Sony Ericsson has recently fallen behind a lot of Nokia’s wave of smartphones, their phones equipped with an operating system were rarely as good as the Finnish manufacturers’. The G series tries to fulfill this space, as both G900 and G700 are available at a decent price. Both run the touch-controlled UIQ platform, the Symbian operating system and have classical shapes. The more expensive model tries to excel with its 5 megapixel camera, but besides showing off with it for three days, it has no functional use. G700, however, has no extras, it’s predictable, properly assembled and has a normal size.
