Sony Ericsson has announced in January its phones designed to be used specifically for listening to AM/FM radios, from which the bigger brother, R306, has a 3D stereo speaker. The phone was planned to be produced in black-coffe brown colors, but according to the manufacturer's site it seems that this has been changed to a completely black edition. Otherwise, the specs didn't change. The phone with a size of 90 x 47 x 15.8 mm and a weight of 93 grams has a 1.9", 128 x 160 pixels large primary and a 96 x 32 pixels large secondary display, external radio control keys, fixed 5 MB internal memory, stereo FM and AM radio with RDS, stereo speakers, 1.3 megapixel camera and Bluetooth support. According to the original announcement, the handset providing 27 hours of continuous radio play is expected to become available before the end of June.
