Sony Ericsson has officially announced today its G502 handset, specialized in data transfer and emailing. The model has been known earlier as "Emelie" and its full specs were revealed yesterday, so there were no secrets about the device by today, we only got to know that it has no GPS receiver, but the already available HGE-100 GPS accessory solves this problem easily, thus making the pre-installed Google Maps application complete. G502's email account setup wizard makes setting up emailing extremely easy, while push email and Exchange ActiveSync are probably welcome by business clients. The 109 x 46 x 13.5 mm large phone, weighing 83.5 grams, supports 3G and HSDPA, has a 2" 240 x 320 display, a 2 megapixel camera, 32 MB of internal memory that can be expanded with an M2 card and has a stereo Bluetooth module. It's battery offers up to 9 hours of talk time with one charge. Sony Ericsson G502 will be available in black and hazel brown colors, expectedly before June. It's price is not yet specified.
