Sony Ericsson Aino: Small size, 8 megapixels, touchscreen

Sony Ericsson's second phone that has been recently announced is also a member of the Entertainment Unlimited series, but just like the Yari gaming phone, this is no smartphone either. The specialty of Sony Ericsson Aino is that the 3", 240 x 432 pixels large touchscreen (with 16 million colors) has no buttons around it at all, we can only see keys after sliding the phone open. Another special feature of the phone with an 8 megapixel camera is that, just like other members of the series, it has microSD support, and the base package includes an 8 GB card besides a charger stand and the stereo Bluetooth headset. The entertainment phone Aino can be used for controlling a Sony PlayStation 3, while it can browse multimedia contents on the console, even via the internet. The handset, featuring stereo Bluetooth, WLAN and GPS has an 8.1 megapixel autofocus camera on its back near the stereo speaker, where we can also see a LED flash. This camera is also capable of face recognition, shooting on smile and thanks to the touchscreen we can set where to focus with a tap. The 104 x 50 x 15.5 mm large Sony Ericsson Aino, weighing 134 grams, provides a talk time of 13 hours, music playback of 31 hours and it will be available from October, but no price has been revealed yet.
