After Nokia's unlimited music download service "Comes With Music", Sony Ericsson has also launched its similar service, "PlayNow Plus", which, as opposed to the Finnish one, offers standard, DRM-free MP3 files for donwload, that can be freely copied to our music devices. While Nokia includes the yearly fee of the download service in the price of "CWM" handsets and users can keep the downloaded files, Sony Ericsson offers its service for a monthly fee of 99 Swedish kronor (about 0.9 euros) and after the 6-18 months contract users can only keep their 300 favorite tracks, the others have to be deleted. Sony Ericsson PlayNow Plus is currently available only in Sweden, and only with the W902 plus handset. The service is expected to launch worldwide in early 2009.
