Samsung timed the preview of the follower of G800 to the Mobile World Congress, too. The novelty debuting with name G810 has the same 5 megapixels camera with built-in optical zoom, only a few modifications was made on the exterior, but the interior changed a lot: Symbian 9.2 S60 OS was installed to the phone.
This made the G810 the opponent of the N95 exactly when the N96 is coming out... But the built-in optical zoom remains extraordinary. The resolution of the display is QVGA but GPS module was installed to the device, hopefully not with the software we've seen in i550.
The G810 naturally works on HSDPA networks, it has standard 3.5 mm jack plugin for music playing, the memory is extenadable with microSD card. The strange fact is that the stuff has Symbian system eves so no buttons has the "menu-entering" sign on itself, this have to be used to, the left-bottom function key guides the user to the main menu.
After a short testing, we feel like the G810 is fast enough, a bit stout, but the quality is outstanding, furthermore the G810 has mainly metal case like its predecessor.
