The Korean manufacturer has again made something great, but this time not in the means of physical size. The name of the device, "Soul", comes from the expression „the Spirit of Ultra”. The phone's slim metal casing is minimalistic and elegant, while the user interface brings us the future. The navigational system is a touchscreen living its own life, which adjusts itself to the current menu item, thus making the use of the phone extremely simple. For example when in camera mode this where the zoom icons are located and when listening to music we can find the music controls here. Samsung had something similar in the E950. The redesigned user interface has three different views, or it can be customized with the help of the built-in theme editor: the backgrounds, the fonts and the colors can be changed. The 12.9 millimeter thick body of the phone was not a serious compromise, there was still room for a 5 megapixel autofocus camera, which has a flash with triple light intensity and it is capable of recording videos at 320x240 resolution. The 7.2 megabit HSDPA module takes care of high speed data transfers, while Bang&Olufsen's ICEpower amplifier is responsible for premium sound quality. The Samsung U900 is expected to be available in stores in April, though no price has been disclosed yet by the manufacturer.
