It has happened what everyone has been expecting, but no one has believed: Huawei announced its first Android handset.
Basically they have announced their concept of the first device of the kind, as there was no functional phone available, just a prototype, which showed only the exterior.
The design is of course mostly iPhone-like. We were also told that based on their plans it should be launched in Q3 2009 and it will probably be an operator branded handset.
