HTC has announced its first HTC Touch smartphone last year, equipped with a finger-controllable interface, called TouchFLO. This has been superseded this year by a nicer, 3D-enhanced interface called TouchFLO 3D. After the HTC Touch models the first HTC Opal handset might be coming soon, which will be capable of running the latest interface, but they will have only GPRS, EDGE and WLAN support. The quad-band handsets will probably have a 2.8", 240 x 320 pixels large display, a 2 megapixel camera, 128 MB RAM and 256 MB ROM, a 200 MHz TI OMAP CPU, WLAN and Bluetooth 2.0 support, microSD slot and Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system. The specs are not final, but according to Slashphone these infos are from a confidential document from July 3.
