HTC Touch 3G is here

HTC has announced Touch 3G which is in much ways better than the original Touch. The Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional-based TouchFLO 3D interface, being displayed on a 2.8", 240 x 320 pixels large touchscreen, is rather fast, thanks to the 528 MHz Qualcomm CPU, the 192 MB RAM (expandable via microSD) and the 256 MB Flash memory. The new model doesn't only support GPRS and EDGE, but also 7.2 megabit HSDPA networks and it also has a WLAN module. Another new feature is the GPS receiver with aGPS support and the camera has been updated to a 3.2 megapixel model, although it still has fix focus. The handset, with a size of 102 x 53.6 x 14.5 mm, weighing 96 grams, has an 1100 mAh battery, providing 400 minutes of talk time. Launch date and pricing of HTC Touch 3G is not yet known.
