The first beta edition of the Apple iPhone 2.2 firmware is available for developers, which is now released only for checking application compatibility, but later on it will of course be publicly available. It is not yet known what new features will the software bring, but of course we shouldn't hope for groundbreaking new functions. The first reports have mentioned a cross-application clipboard, due to which copying and pasting will finally be available without third-party applications.
