It hasn't been a long time ago, when Steve Jobs, first man of Apple, has reported that they are planning to sell about ten million iPhone 3G handsets this year, and it seems that this is not impossible. The demand that is much above preliminary expectations has been a surprise for most telecommunication market analysts, as most have considered the expensive subscriptions (including data traffic) that come with the cheap iPhone 3G, as a negative aspect. Anyway, Apple iPhone 3G is extremely successful, as since its launch on July 11, more than 5.5 million phones have been sold. Only 2.4 million have been sold of the original iPhone, the reason being not only the high price, but also the fact that it was officially available only in a couple of countries.
